The first “Renovation” Exhibition, held on 26 & 27 September at the DEKK Exhibition Center in Heraklion, concluded with particularly high visitor turnout. A total of 5,834 visitors attended the Exhibition over the two days, marking a highly dynamic start for a new exhibition event in Crete.
Throughout the two-day event, busy aisles and a constant flow of visitors at the exhibitors’ stands reflected the strong interest of the audience. Visitors had the opportunity to meet the participating companies, discover products and solutions, and discuss specific needs related to construction, renovation and property upgrade projects.
42% Professional Visitors – 58% Private Visitors
Of particular importance for the first edition was the composition of its visitor audience. 2,431 professionals, representing approximately 42% of total visitors, attended the Exhibition: 1,271 Hotel Owners and Executives, 726 Architects, Interior Designers and representatives of Technical/Construction Companies, 363 Owners and Executives of other Commercial Properties, and 71 representatives of Supply Companies.
At the same time, 3,403 private visitors — representing 58% of the total audience — also had a strong presence at the Exhibition, looking for products, ideas and professional partners for the construction or renovation of their properties.
This combination of professional and private visitors highlighted in practice the character that the “Renovation” Exhibition aims to establish: on the one hand, people planning to build or renovate their properties, and on the other, the professionals who design, construct, equip or invest in real estate.
Next Edition: 9 & 10 October 2027
The success of the first edition marks the starting point for the Exhibition’s further development. The strong response from visitors now provides the foundation for “Renovation 2027” to return even more comprehensive, with more participating companies, a wider range of product categories and even broader representation of the market.
